Dr. Johnson has taught engineering design, transport processes, electronics, instrumentation, and bioengineering to students from the freshman to graduate student levels. His passion for his work in the classroom has earned him the Excellence in Teaching Materials Award in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Division from the American Society for Engineering Education; and the American Society for Engineering Education's Woody Everett Award.
He uses a variety of techniques to foster learning, which, rather than teaching, is the reason he is in the classroom.
